Basket Weave Pot Cozy

Yesterday I thought: why not crochet one of the pot cozies? I chose the basket weave pattern and got straight to work :)

The basket weave pattern is not that hard. It's only double crochet stiches from the front and the back in order to create the weave pattern. There are a lot of video tutorials online where you can see how to do it. 

For the edging at the bottom I used picots. The edging at the top is called shell stich. 

Here you can see the finished pot with it's cozy and the planted bulb :)

Now, all the four flower bulbs are planted and decorated with a cozy. It's time to find nice spots for them in the house and then wait until they will hopefully flower around Christmas :)
