Knitted Sit Pouf

I really love my knitted sit pouf! It's so big and cozy... <3

And it's actually not that hard to make.

Material:
I used 600g double DROPS Andes yarn and 11mm circular knitting needles.

Pattern:
The sit pouf is made using the garter stich.
For a sit pouf this size (35cm x 53cm) cast on 48 stiches.

Set 1:
Mark the 4th stich (st) on the other side of the beginning.
Knit (k) until you reach the marker. Slip marker (sm).
Place marker (pm) in the 4st on the other side.
Turn your work, leaving the last 4st.
k to marker. sm.

pm in 8st on the other side. Turn your work, leaving 4st.

Now repeat Set 1 and Set 2 alternately until you get a round shape like in the picture. In total I knitted about 20 sets.

If you're ready, sew the ends together using kitchener stich but leave a bit room to stuff the pouf. I also sewed a fabric bag which I first put into the pouf and then stuffed it. For stuffing, for example, you can use cheap pillows or blankets made of polyester. Then sew the pouf all way to the top to close it up and your sit pouf is ready!
